Sejarah Singkat

The Ambon Village, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Training and Empowerment Center (abbreviated to BPPMDDTT Ambon) is a Technical Implementation Unit at the Echelon III level which is responsible to the Agency for Human Resource Development and Empowerment of Village Communities, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration, Ministry of Villages, Development Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia.

The previous name of this work unit was the Ambon Community Training Center (abbreviated to BLM Ambon) which was established based on the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2017 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Number 9 2015 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of Technical Implementing Units within the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration. BLM Ambon is also the expansion center of BLM Makassar, with a scope of work covering two (2) provinces, namely Maluku Province and North Maluku Province.

The change in the name of BLM Ambon to BPPMDDTT Ambon follows the latest regulations listed in the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia Number 22 of 2020 concerning Organization & Work Procedures of Technical Implementing Units within the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia.

As an extension of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia in the field of human resource development and empowerment of rural communities, BPPMDDTT Ambon is oriented to implementing community training, community empowerment, community assistance, data management and information systems, as well as cooperation in the field of villages, disadvantaged areas, and special transmigration for Maluku and North Maluku Provinces with special fields related to maritime development.

JOB AND FUNCTION

1. Preparation of plans, programs, and budgets for facilitation and training of human resource development, as well as facilitation and mentoring of community empowerment, villages, disadvantaged areas, and transmigration;
2. Implementation of facilitation and training in human resource development, as well as facilitation and assistance in empowering rural communities, disadvantaged areas, and transmigration;
3. Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of facilitation and training in human resource development, as well as facilitation and assistance for empowering rural communities, disadvantaged areas, and transmigration;
4. Implementation of other functions assigned by the head of the agency; and
5. Implementation of administrative and household affairs of the hall.
