Ambon, 24 Oktober 2025 The Center for Training and Empowerment of Village Communities, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration (BPPMDDT) Ambon welcomed an official visit from the Department of Community and Village Empowerment (DPMD) of East Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province. The visit aimed to enhance collaboration in building institutional capacity for the Desa Merah Putih Cooperative, serving as a key driver of local economic growth.

During the discussion, both parties shared strategies to strengthen cooperative governance, expand partnership networks, and improve human resource capacity at the village level.

The Acting Head of BPPMDDT Ambon emphasized that this visit reflects the essential role of BPPMDDT Ambon as a technical and training support institution needed by regional and village governments to enhance their capacity. Through this assistance, village institutions are expected to become more resilient, independent, and competitive.

This visit also provided a valuable platform for sharing best practices and innovative ideas in strengthening rural economic institutions toward sustainable independence.
